Now looking for smiling faces to join our retail team! The retail associate is responsible for maintaining the Achatz reputation of excellent customer service while upholding food quality and safety procedures. This position has opportunity for growth in a management setting!

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Traveling between our Chesterfield and Shelby Township stores to assist both managers with running the day-to-day operations of our storefront
  • Greet all customers with a smile
  • Go the extra mile to help customers make the perfect pie purchase
  • Become a pie expert by learning about our special varieties
  • Properly package and merchandise products for sale
  • Basic cash handling
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in all areas of the store
  • Use creativity to develop specials and new selling techniques
  • Attend meetings and training seminars as directed by store manager
  • Learn to understand the finances through open-book management
  • Being sure that all products meet the highest standards set by Achatz

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Previous cash handling and customer experience preferred.
  • Customer-oriented attitude, demonstrated reliability and willing to learn are required.
  • Able to stand for long periods of time and lifting of 35 lbs.
  • Availability for Holidays and Weekends
